District Information

Amity School District is located in the town of Amity, OR, on US Highway 99W, 10 miles south of McMinnville and 25 miles north of Salem.  Amity has a population of about 2800 people many of whom commute to their employment.

Our local economy is based on varied agricultural enterprises which include vineyards, grain and grass seed farming, and dairies. Of course there are many businesses which exist mainly to support those industries as well.  Our district is large enough to offer a wide selection of academic courses and yet small enough that kids and parents feel important and have access to teachers and administrators.

The mission of Amity School District is to provide an educational system that enables each of our community’s students to reach their greatest potential for the lifelong benefit of each student and the betterment of our community and our country.  We offer equal educational opportunities to all students.

Please visit the Amity Education Foundation website to learn more about what they have done to support our schools and how you can get involved.
